Brief Overnight Stay

The room was quiet and very clean and comfortable. There was no fan in the bathroom which made warm showers fog up the mirror in the bathroom for a longer period of time. The heating/AC unit had a bright blue light that literally lit up the room at night, not healthy for sleeping. The hotel itself was remarkable in that there was an elevator incorporated into this old beachfront house with lots of rooms. There was a good-sized parking lot in the back making it really easy to take bags and belongings into the room. Very precarious exit from the side street onto the main street in front of the hotel. Trying to clear your view of traffic from the left literally puts you in the middle of the street - scary! Very easy travel distance to Kennebunkport. Overall really enjoyed the brief stay and would definitely return.

Beautiful location! We loved sitting on the porch staring into the Gulf. Only complaint was multiple stains on the carpet and chairs in the room. Staff was friendly and very helpful navigating the area for us!

Lily was absolutely delightful as she answered all our questions about Kennibunkport. She assisted us in selecting restaurants and places to visit. We loved the coffee bar available all day. We also appreciated the convenience of free use of beach towels, beach chairs, and bikes. The room was well decorated and comfortable. The bathroom could use more shelf space, but was fine. The star of the show is the view from the porch where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. The seating area in the lobby is stunning with beautiful views of the ocean as well. One of our Favorite Beach Stays ever! Highly recommend The Beach House Inn!

The room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas and bicycles, if you feel like talking a 1.5 mile ride to town.

Great spot in Kennebunk

The Beach House Inn is a lovely place to stay. Our host Cynthia was extremely friendly and helped us get oriented to the area with a map and suggested spots for shopping and dining. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with quality furnishings, linens and toiletries. They have bikes and beach chairs for their guests and rocking chairs for relaxing on the front porch overlooking the beach across the street. We will stay here again on our journeys up the coast.
