Excellent stay! Very nice, quaint place with wonderful people running it. Not anything fancy, but clean and comfortable. Very beautiful area to visit and this inn is convenient to the downtown area and the waterfront.

The host was super sweet and helpful. This place has everything that you need, and if you need more, she will likely figure out a way to get it to you. It’s a cute place, not fancy- quaint and the location is perfect. It was just what we were looking for.

I had a great stay here for a wedding an attended nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was I only had 1 bar for cell service and the wifi was very spotty.

Quiet, clean, with very comfy bed! Perfect for our one night stay, wish it could be longer! Pool was super clean and the water was the perfect temp. Check-in was simple and no fuss. Continental breakfast in the morning was more than enough for my husband and my tastes. Will be back!

Great place, close to the waterfront. The owner Rachel was wonderful and very nice. The room was super cute. Continental breakfast was great, many options from yogurts, breakfast bars, oatmeal to fresh fruits and pastries as well as coffee, juice, soda, water and tea. We used the pool and we were able to bring pool towels with us to the beach. If we went back we would definitely stay here again.

This is an immaculately clean, cozy old fashioned motor lodge with simple updated furnishings within walking distance to the shops, charming houses and restaurants of Kennebunkport. Behind the rooms Rachel has a good size pool and fire pit set up alongside a large peaceful lawn area. In May, the wild flowers created a lovely meadow with red and yellow flowers. We enjoyed the delightful pastries fruit and coffee and especially the rain head shower. If you are tired of high rise hotels and can enjoy a more personal experience this will fill the bill. We stayed in a room closer to the office.

Love love love this lodge

Probably my favourite overnight stay my whole trip!! We lived it here in this family run lodge, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, great free breakfast provided, swimming pool and fire pit with wood and chairs all ready for you…… and to top it off - the Northern Lights made a show!! Kennebunkport was beautiful and I couldn’t of found a better place to stay. The lady gave us recommendations for restaurants and bars which we followed and had a stunning meal and a great night. We would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay in kennebunkport

I think staying someplace new is always a gamble, but this one was a winner! My husband and I immediately noticed how pristine the room was. Rachel, the owner of the motor lodge, bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and provided suggestions on places to go and directions to get there. Loved everything about our stay!!

The Kennebunkport Motor Lodge is an institution in Kennebunkport and it offers good value in a town that has moved into the realm of high priced ( rather overpriced in some cases) hotels and if someone is not looking for a water view, spa etc this is a respectable place to stay. It has been run by several generations of a family and while it is lower key than some travelers may be looking for, we were there for an overnight and our party was booked into three rooms and Rachel (the manager) was friendly. easy to work with and made helpful recommendations. Rooms were simple but clean and each had a mini fridge, microwave and sink at one end of room so if road tripping or traveling with kids that would be useful. There was also a pool and a fire pit to relax at the end of the day. One piece of trivia is during the Bush era ( many tourists know that both Bush presidents vacationed in Kennebunport) and Secret Service agents were housed at hotel. In the morning there is a little complimentary continental breakfast offering tea & coffee, fresh fruit and pastries.

My wife and I loved staying here. The room we had was so "cute." There is a fire pit in the back that we enjoyed at night. We had our bikes with us and were able to take some great rides from the motel. The owner Rachel was very approachable and helpful. I could tell she puts a lot of care into her place. Also, she put out an awesome continental breakfast with healthy items that we actually wanted to eat! The area is set back on the outside of Kennebunkport, but it was an easy bike ride for us to get there. It felt very peaceful at this spot.

Our room was fantastic. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. We greatly appreciated that they swept for us mid stay after we dragged sand in from our travels. That was a welcomed surprise. The owner is super friendly and accommodating.
