Located on the village square, you will appreciate being accommodated in an independent house in the heart of our beautiful village and enjoying a beautiful private wooden terrace to relax during the day or on your return from an excursion. Fully equipped, the house is spacious (90 m2) and designed to facilitate mobility and safety for all. You will be 50 m from the Charente river and the nautical base open from spring to autumn (fishing pontoon, beach, playgrounds, canoes, paddles...), close to shops and restaurants. Port-d'Envaux is a former shipowners' village classified as a Village of Stone and Water. You will discover a stone sculptors' site, castles, a Romanesque church, hiking and cycling trails (Flow Vélo, Roue Blanche). It is also a quiet and lively holiday resort to discover Saintonge and venture to the Charente coast. Welcome to the Gîte de la Place! The gîte is rated 3 stars by Charentes Tourisme and labelled Tourism and Handicap.
