This is a decent hotel with close proximity to Olympic National Park. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated (bathrooms in particular) but they were clean which matters the most to me and the bed was comfortable. The area is a bit sketchy with some homeless nearby but overall felt safe. I was pleasantly surprised with breakfast. They offered make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, muffins, bagels, bread, yogurt, cereal/oatmeal, and fruit. Not the most luxurious hotel, but it does the job and it’s clean.

This was a great place to just be able to relax for a few days and cook for ourselves. But also super close to town and other restaurants. Staff was nice and it was fairly quiet for a motel in town. Would stay there again.

Uptown Inn, Port Angeles by quality Inns.

Location was excellent for the downtown area and half a block off of Lincoln Avenue which turns into one oh one heading west. Good selection of a great local restaurant on front Street. Rooms are a little long in the tooth no air conditioning, but they did supply a fan, noisy.

I did enjoy the hot breakfast provided in the office area and the pretty flowers outside. The pillows were not queen size and they needed larger and more substantial pillows. There were small ants in the bathroom. There was no food anywhere, so not sure why they had a trail going, but they didn't bother me.

Breakfast was good. Decor was dated. First time I've seen a pink toliet and a pink and aqua sink. Probably from the Mamie Esinehower era. Very retro vibe. No air conditioner but a circulating standing fan was provided. Close to the ferry and wharf.

It was clean. Bed and bathroom linens were good and the bed was comfortable. But in all the place is sort of a dump. A very uncomfortable space; really old fixtures, plumbing. Has been painted recently so looked ok. Had a simple request of the staff, and it took 4 requests and 3 days to get it. I don't think they are very well trained. The breakfast is free but sorta dreadful. As I said, a nice bed, but that's it. And it wasn't cheap. No money has been put into this property in decades.

Usually, every place has basic things like toothpaste, a toothbrush, and drinking water. But this place didn’t have any of those. When someone enters a room, the first thing they usually do is drink water or check the fridge for cold water. But there was nothing like that here. There was only a disposable glass, which felt useless without any water. I was very tired, but I still had to go to the market to buy water. Others might like this place, but I didn’t.

This room was a little tight on floor space but had lots of plugs, a comfy chair to sit in, a nice shower & bed, good counterspace and a large bathroom. It did not have air conditioning but we were able to get a cross breeze going with the little bathroom window and the main window and our large fan they provided. Plenty of room for a towel bar but there was none. Mini fridge had no freezer unfortunately and that is a feature we prefer. a note on the door would have been super helpful indicating that the desk clerk was going to return. When we checked in (next door at the Quality Inn, who owns the Uptown Inn) No one was there, all doors were locked and there was no sign telling us of their return. This was very unsettling to us bc we didn't know if we had missed some memo that we had to be checked in by a certain time and it was before 9pm.

The property sits right above downtown and there are beautiful views of the port and sound. Make sure you ask for a room with a view and A/C. One thing very unique about this property is it's views. Most of the property was designed with a view of the water. They do have a block of rooms with no view and no A/C. We had no view.

The bed was comfortable, sheets nice. The room is tiny and the bathroom is circa 1950’s. It was one of the more budget rooms available, so it was on the small side. The parking is in front of the room,so you don’t have to transport your bags far. Walking distance from the little downtown.

This place was nice but a little small for 2 people and two dogs. Overall it was a nice stay. Slightly outdated but it worked fine for us. Breakfast offerings were a plus.
