This is the first time i used expedia to reserve the hotel. Once we got there the counter lady was very nice and gave me the room keys and gave us the room number. I was with my mom who is 73 years old and we walked to the room. I believe the room was 236 little did we know it basicall the last room on the floor all the way down the hall. We unpacked than found bathroom garbage had toilet paper that was used i took photo and light above the fridge was out. I walked to counter they got us into another room close 402 fourth floor. That room fridge was not working so my mom couldnt put her diabetic medication in the fridge. I called and they swapped the fridge. Which I appreciate but two rooms rooms that things didnt work and 1 not fully cleaned. Just seemed the quality check wasnt fully done. Which was disappointing. The pool was down down due to repairs which I get it. They had a shuttle to take you to another location to use another hotel pool which is another inconvience. Monday January 26 luckily my mother woke us to use the bathroom we were planning on sleeping in a little bit. There was a note under our door stating a schedule maintence was being done and the water was going to be shut down. Another inconvience we got us to take showers and leave the hotel and come back later that evening. Next day smelled like poop out side our door cleaning lady said pipe burst on the first floor. Employee were good. Just money spent on this hotel with all the issues not good.

I wish to formally express my dissatisfaction with the unavailability of the main pool/water park area at this resort during the entirety of my family’s eight day stay due to scheduled maintenance. Proper notice was not provided at the time of my booking and I was not made aware of this major deficiency until my check in. The primary reason I chose this resort for my family was the extensive main pool area in the center of the property, and also the reason I upgraded to a patio room directly facing this pool area. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the front desk management, they offered shuttle services to a secondary pool at their golf course property. I found this commuting option to be unsatisfactory. They also stated that the main pool area would be reopening two days prior to my departure and this did not happen. The pool maintenance was subsequently further delayed until after my departure. Given that this major advertised amenity was not properly available, I believe a partial refund or credit towards a future stay is appropriate.

Expedia, you didn’t inform us about not having the gym or the pool available the whole time we were there. The whole time we were there they were repairing the pool so there were always loud construction all day from 8:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening. Because of that, there was hardly no resting in the mornings. Also, we were never told that the gate at the beach locks at 6:15 PM every day. We were locked out on the beach by ourselves and had to call someone to open the gate because we were on unaware of their policy of locking the gates. Because of the snowstorm. We had to check out a day early because the airline advised us to do so. We also missed out on a whole day because of weather.

Pool and hot tub was closed for construction was not notified yet still charged $300 a night for a suite that was infested with ants! The bathroom looked like a 1980s laundry room. Breakfast was horrible, this is a 2 star motel at tops, all amenities they offer close at sundown. I expected a Hilton brand experience, Instead I felt like I stayed at a motel 6 will never return stay away!!
