"We adore this place! It's light and airy with plenty of room and with places to curl up and read, doze or just enjoy the island cross breezes. The location is perfect- just a couple minute walk over to several terrific beaches. If you forget something (like binoculars to watch the whales) it's a quick skip back to pick them up. The king-sized bed is very comfortable and both bedrooms have fans and air conditioners if it's too warm. The decor is simple and uncluttered yet we had everything we needed, even a teapot! Pam is a gracious host, most accommodating, and she even dropped off a couple avocados which we devoured. When we stayed last year, another couple stayed a couple days with us and the setup worked just fine for four. You can't do better than this!"

"This a beautiful home in an absolutely stunning location. The set up of the house maximizes your enjoyment of the ocean views whether you are inside or outside, and the proximity to the ocean can't be beat. The house is also an easy walk to restaurants and shops. We were two families of 4 (8 people total) with teenagers who like to surf. The house was perfect for that size of group, and the kids absolutely loved the location. They said this was the best surfing they had ever experienced, right outside this house. In addition, we saw lots of sea turtles, seals, sea lions, chickens and baby chicks on our beach (or in the case of chickens and chicks, in our yard), which everyone loved. The house does not have A/C, but we knew that going into it and we didn't need it with all of the ocean breezes. We also enjoyed watching the weather changes from the gorgeous view inside the house. Most of the time we had sun but when the occasional tropical rain storm swept through, it was easy to quickly take cover and watch the weather change and that was a lot of fun to see too. The only negative thing is that we seemed to be here during prime mosquito season so some of the tastier folks in our group got devoured by mosquitos. Lucikly the bites were not that itchy, but for those who are prone to mosquito bites, bring lots of bug spray to Kauai. There is tropical foliage everywhere and it lends itself to a lot of mosquitos. There was a run on the bug spray in all the nearby stores at this time of year so we had to hit multiple locations before we were able to find bug spray on the shelves. Personally, I didn't care about my mosquito bites because I was just so blissfully happy being in this beautiful part of the earth. I would happily stay here again and again. The home's concierge was also very helpful and booked an awesome boat ride for us. We all thought it was one of the most fun boat rides we had ever been on."
