The hacienda is absolutely charming and located perfectly for beach days, shopping and day trips. The staff are beyond wonderful! They were extremely helpful with our questions. The experience was full of warmth and authenticity.

We saw the property originally a few years ago and decided if we came back to Playa that it’s where we’d stay. It did not disappoint! We stayed in room 105 which was right by the pool. The only negative we had were the stairs. They definitely need an upgrade. A couple of the railings were loose or not connected. We made do.

I was really impressed by my stay I enjoyed every moment of my vacation there. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very pretty and they keep it very clean. Everything I wanted to do was within walking distance and there’s great food options around the area.

Location was great. One block and walking distance from the main “5th avenue” shopping/dining where we spent much of our time. Walking distance to tons of excellent dining options, public beaches, and convenient shops. Hotel had security in the evenings. Rooms were basic, no extras. They did have AC, a safe and basics. Pool was small but clean. Overall - a safe, clean, basic hotel with no extra frills or amenities and located in the area we wanted to stay. It was a two to three star rating, because it was very basic. I felt it was a good value for the price.

Really good place to stay at. Affordable. No microwaves or refrigerators, but my husband, kids and I just went to sleep there so it worked for us. Pool was clean and warm. A half block down from the main shopping center/street vendors and 2 blocks from the beach. I would stay again!
