Nice hotel - Rooms are small!

The hotel was nice. The rooms are very small and the bed takes up the majority of the room. I wasn’t in Pittsburgh to stay in my room so I didn’t mind. Everything was clean, the bed and sheets, the showers, and the floor. The attendants weren’t very friendly and when I pulled up, they were hanging out front smoking cigarettes. I thought that was weird. It’s in a very nice area right off the 40th St Bridge. The restaurant, Over Eden had great drinks and okay food. I would stay here again.

Half contemporary art gallery, half the Shining.

Fresh and contemporary boutique hotel nestled at the edge of Lawrenceville in a vintage school building. Rooms and furnishings were new and artfully assembled. The lobby and first floor, on the other hand, were a weird, deserted ghost town. There's space for a bar and a cafe, but they're apparently unfinished or not in operation. After checking in, I'm not sure we saw another human being (staff or guest) in the place over the course of four days there. The attendant at check-in made no mention of any available amenities, so while some other reviews say there's a restaurant on the rooftop, that was not something we were aware of or saw any evidence for. I assume it, too, was closed and deserted. The hotel's only on-site parking was $25 a night (valet only), which was a turnoff. We left the car instead on the other side of Arsenal Park, where there was unmetered street parking, and hiked back three blocks. TL;DR: Lovely place, but seems like it needs a few more months before it's ready for the public.

Excellent location! Great walkability to the boutiques and restaurants of Lawrenceville as well as their own coffee shop and roof top restaurant on site. Espresso based coffee available on the lobby level. Very helpful and friendly staff! Will be back!
