Room was great. The only issue I had with the stay was an exchange I had with a man behind the desk . The front door would not open so I manually pulled doors apart to enter hotel and because of this the security man spoke to me in an unfriendly way saying I should of used another entrance and I told him I was unaware of another entrance. I don't feel his manner of speech was professional but I enjoyed the stay regardless and wanted to give 5 stars anyway.

Was really clean, modern rooms, very nice staff, they allowed early check in which was perfect as we were from out of town. The only down side that we found is the website said it was a 12 min walk to the arena, hense why we booked this hotel but the walk was about 30 minutes, when your not from around there it’s hard to know, either than that the stay was great!

The room was clean, but I wish the lights by the bed were plugged into outlets that are controlled by a switch near the entrance. I was also unable to connect my phone to the wifi for the entire stay. Every time I tried, I got an error: "Webpage not available. net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME" While the few clicks to login via the provided webpage is convenient and worked with my laptop, it is only convenient when it works and I would have appreciated a secondary login option that utilized the password the staff provided at check in. The staff were courteous and did what they could to help, but the issue was beyond their scope, and should be forwarded to IT promptly.

The heater didn’t work well, was super loud, and we had to get 3 additonal blankets at the front desk just to deal with the cold. Then the hotel has in the description a pool and hot tub. The pool has been broken for a while and they never updated the website or third party vendors like Expedia. The hey offered no compensation for it. I had reservations at a different hotel, lost $63 dollars to cancel the other hotel to stay at this one so my son could have a pool, only to get there and have no pool and no compensation for it. The breakfast was cold and not sufficient for the nimber of people there. Items ran out and they didn’t replace many of them, only some. The hallways and common areas were cold as well. The staff was nice, but either unable or unwilling to offer any sort of compensation for the issues. If a manager sees this review, I’ll be happy to change my feelings if a fair compensation is offered. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 26 years, started as a front desk clerk and worked as a general manager and now work for a hospitality call center so I know this should have handled very, very differently than it was. If they want to provide good services they will make things better. Looking forward to them contacting me.
