This was our second stay, and the first stay was a much better experience. I found a sock in the sheet from the previous tenant, a hair tie under the bed, and the toilet was full of “human waste” when we checked in. The toilet also ran the entire stay, which could be the reason why, but it was also annoying. During our stay, we brought our 3 year old son (which we recorded on Hotels.com). There were many children making noises throughout the hotel (it’s Christmas time). We got a call for a noise complaint and asked to move rooms to the floor level at 10:00 pm even though our son wasn’t making near the amount of noise as others. The hotel should’ve taken that into consideration before placing us originally in the upstairs room. We didn’t feel comfortable the rest of the stay. After our previous stay, I had in mind to stay here each visit to the smokies. After this experience, I’ll be staying elsewhere. Aside from that: friendly staff, affordable, semi-clean rooms, plenty of towels. I’d rank a 6.5/10.

The photo was nice, the room was similar but older, worn, bed not neatly made, dirt and debris in corners of room, smudges on walls, chips in door, shower nasty with stained marks like bootprints, dirt behind toilet, peeled paint in bathroom walls, cold rooms with no rugs or carpeting. Listing mentioned "balcony" but that's only if you count the outside entry doorway as a "balcony." Smelled strange, not sure if it was some disinfectant or just leftover stink from previous tenant.
No idea what goop this was stuck to floor...

The door was not secure. The room was dirty as well as the shower. The room had a single chair to set on. The bed was very uncomfortable. We were roomed right in-between a barking dog and and crying baby all night. When telling the desk attendant about the door she seemed unbothered.

My biggest issue is the height of beds. As a physically limited person I struggled to get into bed and was unable to sit on edge without sliding. An Additional seat in room would be of benefit. Folding suitcase stands also recommended.
