"We wanted a place to stay near the Cape Charles Fest even though we were locals so that our friends would be safe and also have somewhere to relax due to weather patterns. We were very surprised to find this little hidden place to be so nice and completely agree we will make it a regular visit to just enjoy time away from work. It was so clean, and service was on point. I really wish we had stayed longer than one night and had the opportunity to use the kitchen. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience!"

"The frisky dolphin was perfect for a low key and relaxing trip for my husband and I to take as we prepare for our first child due August. We stayed the last weekend of April to beginning of May and the weather was awesome. The private beach access was so nice and the sunrises each morning from the deck or the beach were simply gorgeous. Our dog loved the house, the deck (blocked off with no stairs which was nice) and doing walks on the beach. The house was cozy and a great size. One recommendation would be to update the living room couches to something a little more comfy. The area was quaint and small town vibe which we loved. We did a day trip to Jamestown one day and there’s plenty to do around and close by. Liz was great to work with when we had a minor issue that was out of her control near the end of our trip. She values her customers that stay here and it was much appreciated. We already have talked about wanting to come back sometime after the baby is born. Thanks again for a great few days!"

"We enjoyed our stay, driving around in the golf cart, checking out the shops, listening to some live music at Cape Charles Brewing Co, everyone there was so friendly! Enjoyed lunch and the staff at Shantys' and some oysters at A J's, can't wait to go back!!"
