Superb location, wonderful staff and excellent spot to relax or serve as a base for exploring Phuket. My only two criticisms are that; 1) the food offer is ridiculously expensive; I know that this is a ‘gourmet’ hotel but 100bhat for a small cola is about 100% higher than anyone else is charging for that. And small beer for 160 when you can get one twice the size and half the price in town, way too expensive. 2) the welcome package when you arrive at the hotel is overwhelmingly lovely, but after that first flurry you don’t get those features. For example they did turndown on our first evening, with a nice oil scent candle, only that first night tho. Lovely stay though!

Loved our stay! Beautiful seaviews from every aspect of this large complex. Bath on the room balcony in the evening was awesome. This stay was wonderful! The food, the room, the staff were all amazing. It is a bit of a ways from Phuket activities you would like to just take a short taxi ride or walk.

Food quality wasn't as good as previously - the coffee is awful not sure how anyone who enjoys a good cup managed to even sip it. I ordered tuna roll and the bread was stale so they over toasted it - it was also quite dry had to put extra mayonnaise on it (the last time I stayed here this was a delicious roll) Bed was decent slightly soft mattress, but overall comfy

To Whom It May Concern at Expedia, I write this letter with an urgent and heavy heart regarding a traumatic and inhumane incident that occurred during our recent stay at Cape Sienna Gourmet Hotels & Villas in Phuket, Thailand, an experience that endangered our safety, violated our basic rights, and left us emotionally distressed. On the day of our scheduled departure, my fiancé and I were detained against our will by the hotel manager over a disputed payment of $180 USD, a charge I attempted to settle using my Discover Bank Debit Card. The hotel refused the card and, to our utter shock, failed to provide any prior notice that Discover was not an accepted form of payment. As American travelers unaware of this restriction, we were not only caught off guard but offered no alternatives or understanding. Instead, we were subjected to intimidation, humiliation, and complete disregard for our wellbeing. The manager refused every single payment alternative we proposed: Zelle, CashApp, PayPal, Venmo, and more, despite our desperate efforts to resolve the situation. We even attempted to withdraw cash from an ATM, only to discover it too did not support Discover cards. Rather than assisting or de-escalating the situation, the manager escalated it drastically. We were surrounded by armed guards, multiple hotel staff members, and even our pre-scheduled airport transfer driver, all summoned to form an intimidating line as we were held in place.
