Best place i have ever stayed at. The staff is amazing, fhe hospitality is unamtched. Anything you need, you can ask and they'll deliver. The villas are brand new, everyrhing in there is gorgeous and clean. Very spacious and private. Location is great, its about a 10 min car ride to central chiang mai. The breakfast is also amazing. Overall great and amazing place to stay at. No downsides to this place at all

This hotel was a huge disappointment and does not come close to a 5-star experience as advertised online. Check-in was poorly handled and unwelcoming. The room was dirty, and the pool suite deck was also unclean, which made it feel neglected and poorly maintained. The TV was almost falling off the wall, which felt unsafe and unacceptable. Breakfast was another letdown—the buffet had a very limited selection and the food did not taste fresh. Overall, the property is seriously misrepresented as a 5-star hotel. Based on my experience, it is nowhere near that standard and I would not recommend staying here.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast bar (included with my booking) has an amazing assortment of foods to choose from. Artisan coffees are also available in the breakfast bar. The location is also great. Quiet and away from the party crowd so you can get some rest and then it’s very accessible when you want to go to the more touristy areas

The pic in expedia was very wrong. You have to book villa. Otherwise, you will get a room towards the street noise and view of eletrical line crossing the barely seen ocean view. I had to upgrade my room. Also the resort part had a different lounge and reception. Also the faucet was broken and the neck rest in the tub was dirty and stained. I dont know how they can charge what they charge.

The room we stayed in was not that clean and also had ants everywhere, we would occasionally see ants in our bed. We would go down to the bars and there would be no one there to serve us. I probably won’t come back here again

The property was extremely nice. Literally just as beautiful as pictured. I love the app that’s suggested you download. You can do everything from the app including ordering a shuttle from the room to the welcome center to meet your grab(uber). There’s not much around the property so be sure to download the gran app to get the city which is like 10-15 minutes away. Most excursions were at least a 45-1 hour ride. The food was just ok, after ordering room service we didn’t eat at the resort, we would go in the city to get food which was cheaper and flavor wise overall better. I would recommend this resort 10/10 times.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price We had a very poor experience at Wyndham Grand Kalim Bay. Service was disorganized from the moment we arrived. Check-in took almost one full hour, and we had to wait in both the welcome lobby and the main lobby with no clear communication. Instead of focusing on getting us to our room after a long trip, staff immediately began pitching their membership program, which felt pushy and unprofessional. The issues continued once we finally got to the property. The car services were consistently delayed, making it difficult to get around. The pool was dirty, not at all what you would expect from a hotel at this price point. Food service was equally disappointing — meals were cold, bland, and overall very low quality. Nothing about the dining experience matched the hotel’s advertised standard. We originally booked for three nights but ended up checking out after the first night because the stay simply wasn’t worth the cost. Unfortunately, this hotel did not deliver on service, cleanliness, or quality. I do not recommend it.
