This is a nice resort that could be nicer. There are several areas around the resort that show stains on the flooring or grounds. In the common hallways there are multiple leaks from the ceiling. My room was very nice and well appointed. The food and beverage were considerably more expensive than other places in Vietnam, so if you are visiting here after travelling elsewhere in Vietnam - be prepared for the jump in prices!

Novotel is definitely a great resort for families. It has a ton of amentities including a weekly activity schedule that has something for everyone. Free bicycles, tennis, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Always something to do if you'd prefer to stay on resort grounds. The staff are very friendly and are quick to help. I know it's not common outside the US, but tipping the buggy drivers or room cleaners is always appreciated. Negatives Tourists. The amount of families that do not watch their kids, let them run rampant or the amount of adults that act incredibly entitled is astounding. During my 4 days, I witnessed a grown man sitting in the entrance fountain lounging like it was a pool, a woman take a paddleboard that was reserved for another guest and would not return it even after I told her the rental guidelines, a father letting his child walk along the outside border of the infinity pool on the other side of the glass where the drop was about 4 meters. If you go travel to another country that's not your own, please don't be that kind of tourist.
