Disappointing
I rarely give negative reviews, but if there had been reviews I think we would have stayed elsewhere. So I think that potential renters might like to know some of our observations. First the positives. We chose this house mainly for the location which is excellent. The neighborhood is nice, friendly and secure. Joel, the property manager is also excellent - very responsive and accommodating. The beds are comfortable. Nice to have a garage.What was, to us, super disappointing was the feel of the house itself. In a nutshell, it seems that it was "remodeled" into a bullet-proof rental with little consideration given to comfort. The "new' flooring is actually an outdoor stone which is very rough - not comfortable on bare feet and very hard to clean. It's actually meant to be blown off and pressure washed. The back yard was very "prison-yard like" to us. Stone walls with stone surface that is mostly on an incline. I should note that it was not misrepresented in the photos, but the photos don't make it obvious. The pool/spa is in the back corner and fenced off so you can't really lounge by the pool. Strange design. And most of the furniture seemed to be "garage sale" stuff that looks great in photos but really isn't comfortable. Those are the most glaring deficiencies.Sadly, we would not rent this home again as it was not a relaxing and inviting feel and for what we paid I think can do much better.
