My reservations thru Expedia did not mean a thing to Extended Stay America . they had no rooms available, even if I had a reservation. Unbelievably rude and unapologetic staff. She told me that I could speak to the manager, and when I said yes, I was told that he was already gone for the day but I could call him tomorrow... It was 10:00 pm and i was left to find a room elsewhere. And to add insult to injury, they told me to contact Expedia for refund, but the hotel charged my credit card for the night after I left in the dark. I was lucky that I had a car, just imagine if you had come in an uber from the airport or if you were a family with children. save your sanity and dont even think of ANY Extended Stay as an option.

Extremely dirty carpeting, worn out furniture, bedding was old and worn. The hotel needs a tremendous remake for my wife and I to stay there again. Now I know why the price was so low. However, still to expensive for a miserable night at this hotel

I was flying into Phoenix unexpectedly and didn’t have a place to stay so I made a reservation at extended stay in Scottsdale for 3 nights. I received a confirmation code from hotels.com. At about 800pm on 10/7 I went to check in and the Front Desk turned me away. They had a big sign taped on their lobby door that said “Sold Out” I explained that I had made a reservation that day and she responded that this happens a lot with third parties. She said there wasn’t anything she could do about it so I scrambled and found another hotel that had availability. I checked my AmEx card a few days later acre saw that I was charged for one night. I tried getting in touch with hotels.com with no luck so I’ve started the process of AmEx trying to get my money back.

No one to check us in after hours.

I booked a room here for myself and my daughter from the parking lot at 11:30pm after leaving my husband in the hospital. Then went to the lobby door that was locked, used the phone outside to call for an after hours check in. A storm started pouring rain and my little one was crying. After 10 minutes of being on hold I canceled my stay and went somewhere else. If check in has an end time then why was I able to book a stay from the app? Even outside the place smelled like an ashtray. I’m glad we ended up leaving because I am certain it wouldn’t have been a nice stay.

Review

It has been good for 3 plus weeks. My only complaint is that they have a kitchen, but no pots, pans, or dishes. They used to sell these here I am told by the staff, but they no longer do this. Overall its been good
