The room was nice and clean. Although I requested a corner room, away from the elevator and was told I was getting such but in actuality, I was not in a corner room. I was next to the corner room. I wasn’t expecting a bunch of kids, being as though it was valentines weekend so I was a little annoyed when going to the pool and hot tub area. I was also annoyed as I am handicap, and recently had a total knee replacement surgery, when we came back from dinner on Valentines evening, there was a car parked in the handicap parking spot that did not have a handicap placard nor tag. When I brought it to the gentleman‘s attention at the front desk, he claimed that he was told by another coworker that the person said they were handicap and would be putting the placard in the car. I checked later on that evening and the next morning and there still was no placard in the car. The sign on the spot says a fine of $250 or $300. Those handicap parking spaces are for handicap people. The fact that I had to walk such a distance to park my car late at night was very annoying and discomforting. Needless to say by the time I got to my room I was in excruciating pain. If you don’t have the documentation to prove you’re handicap, you should not be allowed to park in the handicap parking space. That experience itself could determine me from ever entering this hotel again.
