Very good location, we had a kitchenette and the ac worked well. The only complaint I have is that the bed was hard as a rock. The pool was nice and staff were friendly. I would recommend this place to others but bring a bed topper.

We loved our stay here. Property is expensive in this area because it is truly absolutely gorgeous. I grew up coming into this area and I genuinely enjoyed staying at this location because it was right on the water. Close access to salty’s, Beach House and lickety split ice cream. It was worth the money for how much time you really spend in the room you don’t need to have a be super fancy.

So clean very big area pools was clean and amazing nice to cool off after a day in the hot sun and sand steps away for the water. Front desk staff we so kind and accommodating. Definitely going back.

The motel was just across the lake where the water park is. The location was the most attractive point of our stay! The cleanliness is not the strongest feature of the motel, but there was a kitchen and where to sleep, so we didn’t care much for the room itself. Overall, we liked our trip and we will come back again!

The staff at the Golden Sands are great. Very helpful and friendly. The mattress of our hide-a-bed wasn't good and they sorted it out for us. The location right across from the lake is amazing. And although I don't have dogs, I love how they're allowed to stay too. I'll be back for another stay.

This was a truly exceptional room for the price. More like an apartment, and in much better shape than the outside of the building would suggest. Very clean also. Nice staff, too. Highly recommend.

This motel was decent if you need a dog friendly place. The A/C only worked in the bedroom not the rest of room. And you have to wash your own dishes or charge you. But the bed was comfortable and it had a kitchenette.

Very close to the beach. Room was very sound proofed. AC was great. I had no blinds on the window - just thin curtains. Brought black out with me just in case. Mattress was lumpy. Could update the mattresses.

We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Sands Resort! The location truly can't be beat, it's directly across the street from the beach and within easy walking distance of countless restaurants, shops, and activities. It made exploring Penticton so easy without needing to drive. Our room was nicely updated with everything we needed for our stay. While it wasn’t spotless, it was clean enough for a comfortable stay. There were a few areas around the property that could use a bit of maintenance, but it didn't take away from our experience at all. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The staff were also incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this is a great value in an unbeatable location, and we'd happily stay here again on our next trip to Penticton!

The room itself was clean , the medicine cabinet when I opened it looked like there was mold sitting on the shelf ? The bed was very squeaky and hard . AC while I was happy ther was some was old and super loud The location is good as it is right across from the lake

You pay for the location, very outdated motel. Needs lots of work. Owners of this property are very cheap! Management is not very helpful. They blame Hotels. Com for choice of booking. I doubt that is the problem. We felt very uncomfortable here. We paid a lot for place and it felt like a slum.
