The house was clean and tidy upon arrival. Great value for the money. However, I had specifically asked if the unit had a Keurig and the response was yes…..unfortunately, I never found one My biggest complaint, is when we would use two of the bathrooms, every time we shut the door, we were locked in! Otherwise, the location was great with plenty to do!

Our stay was extremely disappointing and did not match the listing. The home had multiple maintenance and safety issues that made it feel unsafe and, at times, uninhabitable.During our stay, it rained and water leaked into the house in multiple areas. One of the air vents had visible black mold, which was especially concerning since we were traveling with children. The kitchen sink would not drain properly, several lights were broken, and the backyard was inaccessible. To make matters worse, a wooden trim piece fell off the window due to the wind, exposing sharp nails and creating a serious safety hazard. Because of the water intrusion and mold concerns, we were unable to safely use one of the bedrooms, the adjoining bathroom, and a large portion of the living room.The condition of the property was very different from what was shown in the listing photos. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we spent our time dealing with maintenance issues and worrying about our family’s safety.We would not recommend this property until these issues are fully repaired and the listing accurately reflects the home’s current condition.

I was told by property mgt. that construction on back lawn would be complete in May and we'd have access to the garages. The back was still under construction and there was equipment in both garages and most of the closets so none of these were available for us to use. I booked in enough time to where knowing this ahead of booking may have resulted in choosing another house!Here's the list of issues we encountered:Ice Maker not working and fridge was barely cold for the first 24 hrs. We had to buy lots of ice and use coolers to keep some things cold. Very inconvenient, Outside trashcan was full when we arrived.Kitchen ceiling leaked horribly when it rained.Mstr window behind tub leaked when it rained,Queen bdrm window leaked when it rained.Multiple pots/pans/baking dishes looked in very poor condition.2nd flr bthrm loose sink fixture,indoor chair found on rooftop perch and indoor stool was found in constuction area.Microwave seems to be dying - took 4 mins to heat a 60 sec item.Garbage disposal does not work.Mstr shower leaks for @ 30 mins after use.Numerous spindles on the stairs are loose/not secure.Main flr stayed at @ 80 even with the air set at 70 at all times. It was uncomfortable.To say this was a "luxury" rental is not true with all of the issues we had. If fixed, I feel it would be wonderful and the beach and inlet view were great. No firepit available due to the construction - you couldn't use the back at all. Skip this house!

Property was well-furnished and clean. Layout was good. Communication with host was good except for a lack of clarity on parking. Vrbo listing indicated that garage parking was available. However, the property owner was doing updates to the garage area and they were not usable, forcing us to park more than two cars outside in the driveway. They were going to let me know what to do but never called back. We did not have parking issues and were not towed. Additionally, the backyard was being updated and not accessible. Neither of these issues were ever communicated or listed on the Vrbo site. We did have AC issues on the upper floor and a drain that was clogged. Both of these were addressed promptly. That said, the upstairs AC cannot keep up in the heat and always ran 4-5 degrees warmer than the 70 degrees the temp was set to. It would cool down at night. Due to the humidity, the upstairs vents would constantly drip from condensation. Not a big issue, but somewhat annoying when sitting on the couch. We would stay here again provided the garage and backyard is accessible.
