When I was checking in, I got to my room and there was at least one family, screaming/arguing, kids inside and outside screaming/yelling... I was on a business trip and needed rest which is why I chose this area/hotel because it was out of the way in a small community and I thought it would be quiet and I could rest. I advised the person at the desk of this and all they offered was to move me to a different room. I told them the reason I was there and asked for a refund. I was told that I would have had to cancel 2 days prior in order to get a refund. I have worked at hotels, and in this situation I would have refunded the person's money. Poor customer service.

This is an older property but clean and didn't smell musty. The microwave was dirty and you had to walk around to the back of the property for ice. No one was on duty to check us in, so we had to wait until they finished up elsewhere. The beds were sagging and one actually swayed when you sat on it but we slept comfortably. The staff were nice but due to circumstances beyond their control unavailable for the most part of our stay.

My husband dealt with the staff to get our key but said they were great, the room was nice and clean, no bedbugs despite the reviews I saw, the ac worked fantastic and the shower did aswell. The bed was pretty comfortable.
