"We loved this location. Breathtaking views of both the Gulf and Santa Rosa Sound. Right across the street from the beach, and the main pool was directly on the Sound. Portofino had great amenities: a pool at each tower, indoor and outdoor pools at the Activity Center, gym, stores, restaurant, lovely grounds. Comfortable beds. Full kitchen."

"We spent the winter 2024 here. The location is steps away from the beach which wasn't ever very busy. Walk the beach for a couple miles each way! The neighborhood was also walkable. 3 miles from "downtown" Pensacola Beach. Lots of parking by the restaurants and activities. The townhouse was comfortable and bedrooms were roomy. The bright lighting in the living area helped because it is at ground level and doesn't get much natural sunlight. Loved the openness of the upper deck for the sun (and wind block when chilly)."

"Although the unpredictable March weather on the Gulf Coast was rather dismal during our stay, our family managed to make the most of our visit to Portofino Resort last week. The resort itself did not disappoint! We enjoyed our time at the main pool area and even had the opportunity to play tennis one afternoon. The facilities are impressive and very well maintained. Additionally, the walk and proximity to the beach is excellent. The unit itself was exactly as described - that's the reason we chose it. It was comfortably and tastefully appointed and provided us with exactly what we wanted for a relaxing extended weekend. We would not hesitate recommending this unit and this resort to any of our friends."

"The unit was very nice - well maintained and very comfortable. A few issues with traffic - but it was spring break - so that's expected. Only issue we had was the "whistle". It was very windy 3 of our 4 nights, and there was a very pronounced whistle throughout the unit - enough to wake you up at night when the wind gusted. Not sure if it's around the door seals, or up between the ceiling and the roof. But when you open the door it goes away - so could be the door - or opening the door relieved the pressure. Still a great place to stay. Will definitely be back."
