Native Retreat Description Escape to the Native Retreat: a peaceful, relaxing cabin nestled in the majestic mountains of Tollgate Canyon, just 16 miles to the heart of Park City and Deer Valley. This all-season tranquil cabin is surrounded by trees, abounding with wildlife and beautiful views of the Uintah mountains and ski resorts. It’s not far from world class skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, restaurants, shopping, art festivals, live music, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, hiking, zip lining, mountain or electric biking and ATV trails. You can even snowshoe, sled, and cross-country ski right outside the front door! You’ll love kicking back on the deck, whether in solitude or visiting with family and friends and viewing wildlife. You may see deer, moose, elk, chipmunks, squirrels, birds (including hawks and eagles), and porcupines, just to name a few of the most commonly seen animals. Use the reclining chairs to soak up the sun or nap for a bit. Our Native Retreat is furnished with many pieces of authentic traditional Native American decor and art. It’s truly one of a kind and contains years of collecting beautiful craftsmanship from Native American tradesman and artists. The cabin includes 3 bedrooms plus a loft area that includes a queen sofa sleeper and table for remote working, doing puzzles, or playing board games. The game room located just off the loft is a fun place to kick back in the swivel reclining gaming chairs and watch movies or play the included XBOX 360 games or bring along your own gaming system. The cabin has Wi-Fi internet through Starlink. It’s great for working remotely, streaming Netflix, gaming or just using your cell phone apps. The main level and lower level both offer LG smart TV’s capable of streaming your favorite TV apps. If you’re looking for some entertainment, there are puzzles, card games, board games, DVDs, and a telescope for star gazing. There is also corn hole and sleds available. The main floor includes: Bedroom 1: A Queen size log bed with comfy Avocado Green pillow top mattress, ceiling fan and tall vaulted ceiling. Bedroom 2: A Triple XL twin bunk bed is accommodated thanks to the tall, vaulted ceiling. Each bunk has a comfy Euro top mattress that will accommodate an adult or child. There is also room for an addition floor mattress, that is stored in the closet. *Please no children under the age of 8 on the top bunk for safety reasons. Parents, please use good judgement as to whether your children are age appropriate to use the upper bunk. Full Bathroom: Double vanity, shelf for holding personal items, electric heater, tub, shower, and toilet. Family gathering area with vaulted ceiling, gorgeous views out the large windows, 55” Smart TV, Blue Ray/DVD player, thermostat-controlled gas fireplace and pellet stove. Laundry closet includes a large capacity washer and dryer. Large open kitchen with all new appliances including a gas range, double oven, microwave that may also be used as a convection oven, dishwasher, and a refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. You’ll find all the cookware, accessories and utensils you’ll need to create fabulous meals. Large dining table accommodates seating for up to 10 with 3 additional seats at the kitchen bar. The lower-level daylight basement includes: Bedroom 3: King size bed with Avocado Green pillow top mattress, ceiling fan and full daylight window. Full bathroom: single sink vanity with shower and toilet. Large family room with 65” Smart TV, Blue Ray/DVD player, pool table, ping pong table (stored in closet), thermostat-controlled gas fireplace, pellet stove, 1 swivel/glider chair, 2 sofas including 1 queen size sofa sleeper and full daylight windows. Upper loft level: 1 sofa that is also a queen size sofa sleeper, and table with 2-4 chairs. Gaming room includes 4 swivel adjustable gaming chairs, Smart TV, and Xbox 360 gaming system with games. Each bedroom includes a closet with shelf organizers and 2 luggage racks to store your luggage and personal items. Please tell about winter driving requirements and it might be nice to list all the venues nearby such as the different ski resorts, reservoirs, Sundance film festival, Olympic Park, outlet shopping etc. Guest has full access to the house. I will be available and anytime during your stay, just reach out if you need anything. In the mountains surrounded with trees. Plenty of parking. Cabin is off of a dirt road in the mountains. If booking during winter months Nov-Mar, please make sure to book a rental car that has 4-wheel drive and ask for chains to be added to reservation.
