Location is ideal for being in the city-center. Everything was under a two mile walk or less. Only issue creating noise was the Christmas holiday market in Tuileries Gardens, but we knew that being this time of year.

The rooms were fabulous and incredibly comfortable. The staff was kind, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Breakfast was also excellent. We’re returning to Paris for our honeymoon this summer and are seriously considering changing our hotel booking to stay at Hotel Regina. We can’t wait to come back!

There was a musty odor from the bathroom that permeated the room- perhaps a drainage issue?? It was worse after a shower. For the rest, the accommodations were lovely.

Overall, we had a nice stay at this hotel but here were the pros and cons: Pros: Great location. You can walk to tons of museums, shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. Large rooms and bathroom. Friendly staff and frequent cleaning/turndown service. Cons: The internet was very slow, I pretty much had to use my data and turn off Wi-Fi. It was also public, so not sure about safety there. There are almost no English channels other than the news and there was no streaming capabilities with the tv, we were told that upgrade is in progress. The bathroom light would turn off for us at night and would not turn back on until maybe 30 minutes later after playing around with the ancient switch. Thank goodness for the hallway light. The hotel is 125 yrs old so it has old bones. I normally would not get into all of these details but for a 5 star hotel and $700 a night, most of these things need to be fixed or improved. I think it should be advertised as a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. Throw in a free breakfast or something too...

Staff super friendly and helpful. Well equipped, clean, luxurious gym. Top notch. Upgraded from a deluxe room to an Eiffel Tower view, balcony view room. Absolutely stunning French experience. Luxurious linen sheets. Beautiful pillows. An incredible chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. Total elegance and beauty, with French doors, opening up to the balcony. Beautiful lounge where I had tea every afternoon. Wonderful, full breakfast in an elegant setting. Hotel Regina was an incredible French experience that is especially nice or special occasions. A lifelong, memorable, French experience.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and the staff was so friendly! We would come back from the museums and tours at the end of each day and pop into the bar for a drink & bartenders would make a perfect Lemon Drop martini for my wife. The location is also great very close to everything. We can’t wait to come back and stay!!
