The lights in the room were insufficient. There was no light near the entry door, so you had to either turn on the light inside the bathroom or go near the beds where the only 2 lights were located. And those 2 lights were pendant lights which didn't even make enough light to light up the room.

Hotel was just okay. Would I stay here again probably not. No up keep, not the cleanest of hotels. Sand in our sheets making me believe sheets were not changed. Old used coffee filters in coffee machine with no new coffee to use, room was on 3rd floor no elevators in case you are traveling with people with disabilities. Did have some views. Again was just ok, more like a fancy hostel!

Perfect spot

From the moment i stepped inside the staff greeted me with open arms. Because I arrived early I stored my bags while I headed out for an early lunch and a drink. The location was great. One corner of the block offered a wine bar, the other corner a brewery, and right next door to that another great restaurant/bar. Two blocks beyond that there was a mini mart two minutes beyond that the laundromat .Made a few stops in the story and it had everything I needed to make my week long stay a bit more comfortable. I was on a side street so hearing any cars or people wasnt any issue. Location was the best. Walking distance from plenty of dining options and sites.

Property was very good, clean and better than expected. What was not good - The airport to hotel taxi arrangement was messed up. Taxi was sent to Terminal 1 even though my flight details were provided and landed in Terminal 2. Taxi company tried to contact the taxi driver. I tried to contact the taxi driver too but no response. Finally, after an hours wait, the taxi company apologized and asked me to catch an Uber.

So this is a budget property. Does what it says on the tin. A/c in room is fine - bed comfy - rooms small - bathroom even smaller. Like most of Casco no lifts to rooms. But for overnight - great location.

The power went out in the building for hours. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the a/c wouldn’t work and there was no light. I chose to stay at another hotel and they refused to refund me the night stay despite the condition of the property. Expedia was of no help and made promise to help but never came through.

The first room we were in on first floor we could not sleep as the neighbors were playing loud music in the street. The front desk stated this occurs all the time and all they can do is call the police. They did this many times over 3 days. We liked the first floor room as the bathroom was in the room too. But could not stand the noise. When we came back at end of week we were on 3rd floor. There is no elevator so let’s just say our legs got a workout. Javier was amazing and brought our biggest luggage up for us. The bedroom was nice but the bathroom was accross the hall. Tiny hot bathroom as no air conditioning in it and the shower was strange with a wood slat floor. The maids came up there to get stored linens and were noisy. One maid walked into our room even though a do not disturb sign was on door. I slipped on the floors in kitchen as it was just mopped but no sign put up to let me know. I will say the staff there were incredible. They make up for any shortcomings for sure.
