We stayed here for our anniversary both last year and this year. The first time was absolutely wonderful—the staff, attention to detail, and overall service made our stay feel so special. Sadly, this second visit didn’t measure up, and we left feeling disappointed.
As Expedia VIP members, we were supposed to receive a bottle of champagne, but it was never provided. Unlike last year, we also didn’t get the thoughtful handwritten note that made our first anniversary visit feel so personal. On top of that, the poolside service was lacking. At check-in, we were told service would be available until 7 pm, but last call was announced before 5. When I asked about ordering inside, I was turned away at the host stand because I wasn’t fully clothed, despite being at the pool. It was a letdown compared to the wonderful experience we had the first time, especially since we chose this hotel again to celebrate such a special occasion. We hope the level of service returns to what made our first stay so memorable.
