"Sofa bed" was a couch, not a sleeper, no extra bedding provided. No host, no lobby, no employees on site. So odd. We arrived at 11pm and went to sleep exhausted, three of us (two adults and one full-sized teen) on a full-sized bed and couch with no sheets or pillows. I emailed about the sofa the next day and asked for a discount for false advertising. I didn't hear back until the next day, which is the day we were checking out. Their response was, "If you would have emailed sooner we could've helped." What? It was a two-night booking. Would not return. Never got a response to my second email.

The check in process was terrible. I was not aware of the self check in process until we got there as the confirmation looked like all others that I normally get. Luckily someone else who was already there advised me of the process. We did not get a response after texted our license (hmm. potential security issue with this.) so I had to find the phone number on the website to get this corrected. The phone number was hard to find. Once we got in (the voice on the doorlock was in another language and undiscernible) we only had one set of towels. No lobby to get thsi resolved either. We asked about more towels via text, but never got a response. I also question how you passed the fire inspection, due to requiring a button to press in order to exit.) Also no indication of elevator inspection.) Needless tosay we won't staying there again. It is truly minimalist at the expense of the cusotmers.

This place was trashed upon arrival. trash cans outside were filled to the brim with garbage, bees and flies swarming around it, i didn’t even want to walk past it to get in the building!! the inside trash cans were filled to the brim as well with trash. my room had a lingering dog smell and the floor beneath the AC was soaking wet and they refused to give me another room. The toilet was also clogged and the staff member simply walked out in the middle of fixing it. I was redirected to so many staff members and was told that everyone had been fired and that there is no one that can help us. When I asked for a refund they said it wasn’t possible and could only refund me for one night. They didn’t even take the one night off so I still paid in full for this terrible experience. Pretty sure the rooms had fleas too because me and partner both had bites on our legs after sleeping in the bed. Such terrible customer service. you would think they would do better since there is no front desk. Will never go here again, I’m so disgusted with the staff and the state of this establishment. Definitely needs to be shut down, it looked more like the projects and not a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even for a cheap option!!!

This hotel is definitely minimalistic, no staff on site except some cleaners, hallways are a little dingy but rooms are clean and comfortable. Worth the money!

After waiting all day for check-in instructions as I continued to request it and I was in town, I received a message after the 3 pm check-in time that the previous guest had left my room in a bad condition; therefore, they had to cancel my stay! I replied that was unacceptable and I needed a place to stay for the night. I was already there! They never responded and I was left stranded! This has never happened to me - ever! This place is the worst! DO NOT STAY HERE! COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE!

Price was leagues cheaper than anything else in the area. As a result there's no front desk to check in with, and all communications will be done online. They were incredibly responsive, and I've never really cared whether there was a front desk or not, so no complaints there. I wasn't sent any check-in instructions until I asked them, so that was a bummer, but again, they responded quickly enough that it didn't really matter. Plenty of parking, it's right next to a bunch of fast food and a grocery store, and the room was clean. Water got hot pretty quickly, and the shower pressure was fine. Bed was comfy and clean. I just needed a place to sleep for 2 nights while I was in town for a wedding, and this got the job done. Not much else I can ask for!

Checkin/checkout was smooth and trouble free, the room was large, clean and comfortable. The location next to restaurants, Aldis and highway access was perfect. The hotel was quiet all hours of the day. I will not hesitate to reserve a room at Kiteville in the future.

The good reviews for this site must be auto-generated by the owners. There is literally no front staff and we had to call a number twice (somewhere in Pennsylvania) to get a key pad number for the outside door and for our room. This place is nightmarish. The code for the room didn't work. There was one person "cleaning" rooms (most had open doors and had not been cleaned with several being held open with hangers and people hanging out in them. I don’t believe they were guests- UNSAFE). The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the toilet plugged. No one came to fix it despite saying they would. We left within an hour and paid nearly $400 for a suite in the hotel next store which was the only room they had left. Travelocity should remove this property from their site. Don’t walk....run away from this disaster.

This property has a sign about being minimalist. I’m not sure it even meets that standard. We checked in after dark. There was no outside lighting at all. We could barely find the place because there was no sign visible. The parking lot was dark. We struggled to find a “main entrance” with no lighting as there is no lobby or staff. It is self check in. There was open space next to the keypad of our room with exposed wires where someone could tamper with and enter the room. The balcony door didn’t lock so we used a chair to block it from being opened from the outside. There was no linen or pillow for the “sofa bed” which was an extended couch for 1 person. It did not open up into a sofa bed or futon. The arms of the sofa flip down to make the sofa longer to lie on. If every other hotel in a 60 mile radius hadn’t been booked we would have gone elsewhere. The experience was horrible. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Worst Hotel ever.

They cancelled my reservation at 3:40 twenty minutes before check in is crap. Would have given a zero if possible. No lobby, No check in. Was super shady especially when Sheriff car comes twice in 20 minutes.

Parking lot is well lit and theres no loiters hanging around the area, its a secure building worh a code to get in the building and only guests receive the code, you get that within 24 hours of your reservation date. Its a walk from grocery store, dollar general, fast food, and a beautiful park and its less than a 5 minute drive to "The Greatest Little Town in America" famous Riverrow shops on Front st.safe and quiet area.
