Oasis in the City

Our architect-renovated home is charming, comfortable, bright and art-filled. The kitchen is beautiful and functional, with a recently installed quartzite counter and integrated butcher block. The upstairs tatami room is a great place for exercise, yoga, meditation or tv-watching.

This house is one of seven units in Ottawa's only cohousing community. Our deck overlooks a shared backyard that is shaded by over half a dozen mature trees and lushly vegetated by beautiful gardens. Our neighbours are friendly and helpful.

We are centrally located in Old Ottawa East, between the Canal and Main Street, with restaurants, cafes, stores, a wine bar and a Saturday farmers market a short walk away. Also within a few blocks is the beautiful Rideau River with parks, docks, and many kilometres of pathway. Parliament Hill is walking distance along the canal. Bicycle paths abound, and we can offer a couple of bikes to guests.
Make yourself comfortable in this vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.
