The staff are kind and the room was nice. The Wi-Fi connection was awful and the quality of the breakfast has gone down, that’s part of why I choose The Hampton Inn for stays, but we were disappointed with the quality this stay. It would be great to be able to sign into a streaming service in the rooms!

Convenient for an Overnight Stay

Price-wise, this hotel is a good alternate to Hilton Garden Inn Ottawa Airport for a lay-over. It is next to a Lone Star restaurant (not super great), the Infinity Plaza, a Royal Oak pub and an A&W. It's also beside the ESSO gas station and car wash on Hunt Club. Free breakfast and parking.

The hotel is fine if you are staying for one night and flying out due to its proximity to the airport. However, it is expensive, outdated, and less amenities than other hotels I’ve stayed at (example, water cooler on floor). The room was spacious and clean, the tv was old and the remote was difficult to use, location was great. Good restaurants close by and Walmart in case you forgot something.

The staff was exceptional, and the facility was well maintained and clean. The only complaint I have about this hotel was no food or essentials service available outside of breakfast. I went to the front desk to see if I could buy Tylenol or Advil, and was directed to the hotel next door. There was another mom also walking across the parking lot to buy better food options than the chips available in the vending machine. Most hotels will offer a corner for essentials or better than vending machine food options for purchase - this would be a great additional to consider.
