The place is really unique. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The location is excellent, very close to the beginning of the Rideau Canal, and to many shops and restaurants. We took the guided tour of the prison, which was free. The rooms are obviously small, but well-equipped. It was a fun stay, which completed our travel experience.

The rooms were clean, and the staff was great. Although, I found that the halls could get a little noisy at night, and you even hear low sounds of other talking at a distance because the cell doors had holes in them. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay
