Just 5 minutes by water or just a short walk to Lake Huron's turquoise shores.
Cast a line for bass, walleye, perch & steelhead right in the backyard, or hop in a kayak and paddle off. Good swimmer? The water's clear enough to spot fish swimming by.

Fishing Fun

Great River Escape

Fantastic getaway. We didn't have the greatest weather, but the River house is so cozy and cheerful that it more than made up for it. We were able to get some hiking, fishing and kayaking in. They are great hosts.

The “Happy Place” was a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Outstanding! The accommodations were perfect and very nice personal touches which made the stay even memorable. Fresh flowers, great use of space, clean and the outdoor space with hammock and view was amazing.

Home away from home!

We come to Oscoda every 4th of July to see family and struggled to find a rental to fit our needs. Jerry and Jen were the best hosts! They had plenty of supplies, games, entertainment and the rooms were so welcoming and comfortable! The Maui pad was such a bonus! We will be back next year!

Lovely home base

Jerry and Jennifer's adorable A-frame on the river was a perfect home base for a late fall weekend spent hiking and exploring the area. They really thought of everything, and we appreciated all the little details that made our stay comfortable, easy, and relaxing. We hope to return!
