Pure Michigan! Catalina is a fun, cute, comfy and traditional northern Michigan cabin! Just across the street from popular Van Etten Lake with deeded lake access to launch canoes or kayaks! Includes fully stocked kitchen and bath, living room, main floor washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, large family-friendly backyard with picnic table, fire pit, and gas grill! Also includes use of 2 kayaks! Up to 2 dogs are also allowed. NO SMOKING!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The neighborhood consists of lake homes, which are primarily vacation and second homes. A number of retirees live in the area. It is expected that guests will help to keep the neighborhood pleasantly quiet and peaceful. The home is only a 5-minute drive from downtown Oscoda.

The entire area is famous for fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and nature viewing and there are a number of different places in the area for these activities. There are also several places in the area that rent out boats, kayaks, and paddleboards for fun on the water if you don't have your own watercraft.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) PET RULES:

* We allow up to 2 dogs. More than 2 dogs is strictly prohibited.
* Pets other than dogs are also strictly prohibited.
* Dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside. They are also not permitted on the property of any of the neighbors.
* You must clean up any pet waste.
* If you are bringing 1 or 2 dogs, please make certain that the dogs are included on the reservation and that the pet fee is appropriately paid accordingly.

2) AIR CONDITIONING: The home has a window A/C unit in one of the windows. It does NOT have central A/C though.

3) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

4) OUTDOOR SUPPLIES: Please note that there is a storage bin outside that has outdoor chairs, tools for grilling, and roasting sticks in it. Guests are welcome to use these items.

5) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

6) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.
