The room was dirty. Did not provide any water bottles in room each day. There was mold on the telephone wire in the bathroom. The laundry machines were out of service which was very inconvenient.

The room size was okay for Japan. There was a spot to sit in the room next to the bed. Pillows sucked, they dont give you any washcloths in your bathroom for showers, but you can grab a sponge (in a sealed package) for showering in the lobby we found out after we had showered. Luckily I saved a new nice washcloth from the last hotel we used. My wife thought it smelt like cigarettes but I didnt. Oh yeah, no ice machine. The location is nice, right in the heart of it all. good for transportation. We went to universal studios the second day because we didnt want to shop any more. Block off from the canal and so many food choices. We did travel up to Katsuo-ji temple by bus. Best temple we visited (IMO). We were templed out by the time we finished with Kyoto but am glad we did this one. Overall I liked the hotel, Only real gripes were no washcloths in the bathroom and no ice. Everything else was satisfactory.

My new go to in Osaka

Everyone very helpful especially for us only speaking English. Rooms are nice and cozy, area is perfectly off the riverbed and main attractions.

Rooms are sizeable and easy to navigate, albeit a little dated. The location is very convenient with dotonburi access right around the corner and a 7-11 right beside the premesis. Cleanliness can be improved. Our bar fridge did not function, nor is there a safe.

The bathroom wasn’t nice it seemed pretty outdated. the keycards didn’t work at times and you would have to swipe multiple times. The bottom of the shower curtain was dirty and the ventilation in the bathroom was bad.

The hotel is pretty standard, felt more like a motel. Didn’t feel super clean, the walls were kind of dirty and overall just felt icky. It was very bare bones but the room itself was a decent size for Japan. The location is great as it’s in the heart of Don. I recommend it as a short stay, but deff did not want to be there longer than just a place to sleep for a couple hours. Check out is at 10am.

Provided unsafe conditions in the room and did not bother to accommodate us. Dripping water from AC onto beds beside electrical outlet. Had to contact Expedia to submit a compensation request. Manager did not seemed to care about the giant safety concern. Only thing good about this place is the friendly front desk staff. Rooms were midly dirty ish and smelled. Power turned off throughout the night multiple times. Would never enter the vicinity of this Hotel again. I recommend the Hotel Vista 2 minutes behind this “Onefive” hotel. Should be named “ 1 out of 5 “ Hotel because thats the service they provided. Would give a 0 if i can.
