10 Days in Shimanouchi

The property was wonderful. There was enough room for my friends and I to get work done during the day and host a few friends for dinner at night. There was plenty of space for us to sleep comfortably. The bathroom was clean and helped us stay fresh over the 10 days in the apartment. Family Mart next door was very convenient and the apartment itself is in an area with a good variety of great things to do. Lots of great restaurants, too. This is definitely a property I'd like to stay in again.
DJ'ing at PARCO Shinsaibashi Mall before I traveled back to my apartment for a surprisingly good Osaka pizza dinner with friends!

Hotel name is deceitful - we booked basic apartment with 2 twins and 3 futon beds. 1. Communication very poor, you asked in English, reply is always in Japanese, and takes 2-3 days or sometime no answer at all. They can’t received luggage in advance, as it is a self check-in, it would be helpful if they can suggest that downstairs family mart does ship/luggage everywhere. We learned the hard way. 2. Apartel air conditioner remote control are in Chinese character, it would be helpful to post or have instructions in English or multi languages as Apartel guests are international. 3. Apartel is bone essential, the room is good for 7, it does come only ONE glass shot, 4 plates, 2 spoons, a little play kettle, a scissors, a small pot and pan, NO cooking utensil, IN SHORT “DO NOT COOK” however it does have a microwave and stove. 4. The twin beds are as hard as a rock, the pillow is as soft as cotton, there are blood stain in 2 of the futon beds and the wall as well, GROSS!!!! 5. The TV fall off the bracket and they didn’t bother to mount it back, wall paper peeled off in the dining area, pendant light in the futon room is semi-broken. The POSITIVE comment for the apartel: 1. It’s a walking distance to dotonbori and train station 2. Family mart is at the ground floor 3. Water power is very strong with hot water 4. It come with washing machine (we didn’t use) no dryer 5. Essential toiletries - shampoo, conditioner & body wash, no cotton swab, no slippers, toothpaste are dried up
