I had an amazing stay! I arrived early and was told I could check in before 12pm for a $50 fee. WORTH IT! Then at check in I was upgraded to a suite! The woman at check in was amazing. Free breakfast every morning, eggs any way you want them, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, juices, bread, coffee and the service at breakfast is incredible. The lobby is beautiful, there’s seating outside of the property. So many options to sit alone and read peacefully. I finished 2 books on this trip. I felt safe sitting outside at 4am relaxing. They have late check out for a fee if applicable WORTH IT. Overall I’m grateful I found this place and will definitely be returning next time I want to visit Universal Studios. THANK YOU TO THE TEAM!

This was a lovely, laid-back place to stay. We had a full 1-bedroom suite, with fridge and microwave and coffee-pot. What stood out was the breakfast: every morning there was a sit-down, served-to-you full breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, juice and coffee. Though an older hotel, the View is spacious and gracious.

I booked this one because it had great reviews but I dont see how it got that rating!! It felt like we were staying in the Overlook Hotel from The Shining!! The shower curtain had fallen down in the room, the door wouldn't close unless pushed hard, the blinds on the windows were a mess. The breakfast was sub par and by order only and took way too long to get 2 eggs and bacon. The front desk clerk at check in was disinterested in her job. There was only one ice machine on the fifth floor

The food is great but not all people eat pork or meat, you should vegetarian, people don't eat pork, there's a lot of turkey, chicken sausages and bacon. Please consider and offer at least two pieces of pancake and slice bread that food is not that expensive.

It was a nice stay, comfortable room with a view. Upkeep was lacking. Room was cleaned but not ‘clean’. Large window provided a great view of YE fireworks. Great number of ethnic restaurants nearby but many were closed because of the holiday. Probably not the best area. I didn’t feel safe walking outside, after dark. Very nice breakfast. Fresh, well prepared and delicious. Overall a decent place to stay for the $

The room size was fine. The served breakfast and related breakfast staff superb. The house keeping just for request, and don’t do beds or floors is not likable. Also need to check out several days before for medical emergency and they denied to make a credit or any other type of arrangement.
