I've stayed here twice, neither time at my own choosing (booking was made for me for business) and having stayed at several other places in town, I'm guessing the only way this motel stays open is because it is one of the first ones on the highway when you come into town heading North, so perhaps it's a default for weary travelers passing through town. It's very dated, no real amenities, the TV is small and sits low so good luck watching it in comfort. WiFi is completely useless. The white fluorescent lighting gave me a headache, and the place smells musty. The desk staff was rude and detached. I get the feeling they could care less whether you stay there which is odd since this motel is more expensive than places in town that are much nicer and you would think service would need to be a strong suit given the lackluster condition of their facilities. Room service knocked early despite the do not disturb sign. Check-in was slow. Thin walls and traffic noise from the highway. Most recently, my coffee maker had moldy coffee grounds in the back where you pour the water. Was going to clean it but threw my hands up and went to get coffee elsewhere. I hope the management can turn it around but this just isn't a good value. For less money, there are nicer places up the main road that are closer to restaurants and stores. I won't be staying again. Your mileage may vary but I don't recommend this place.
