Hopefully it gets better

The staff were great all the way around. Unfortunately the condition of the hotel was not. I chose this hotel because I have stayed here before and enjoyed the amenities. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. But, the WiFi was very slow, our sink was clogged in the room. Because of the construction we couldn’t use the gym and the water re-fill station was gone. There used to be complimentary coffee and water in the lobby, that was gone. The restaurant had a great breakfast before, that was gone. Now Ty have to order from a screen and sit down to wait for the food, and it was way overpriced for the quality. It was cheaper to eat at Disney! I felt bad for the servers- how do they make money? Also, the water was out for a big part of the day so coming back to the hotel when it was hot out was a mess bc we couldn’t flush the toilet or wash our hands. I don’ like to complain but this just felt like one thing after another!! At least give your guests complimentary coffee in the lobby to make up for it! The staff were all great and I truly felt for them I’m sure it’s not easy to work there right now.

We love the room service option. The distance to Disneyland was easily walkable, but the ART bus stop was right in front of the hotel, which was perfect when returning from Disneyland with exhausted legs/feet! Staff were lovely, room was clean, comfortable with an awesome view of the fireworks! Will definitely stay again!!!

We enjoyed our time on property. Everything was clean and plenty of parking. A couple of things to note that you have to call to request housekeeping and there’s some construction being done on one side of the building. This affected us as water was being shut off during the day and noise in our hallway right outside of our room. We weren’t aware of this until the day of check in when we were on the road already. It would’ve been nice to know ahead of time. The walk was easy to the parks and a 24hr Walgreens next door. There’s a Starbucks next to the hotel as well. Which was very convenient. Overall it was a good stay.

I really like this hotel. However, the last two times we’ve booked here, we had problems. The most recent stay, the water was off the day of our arrival and the following day. The day of our arrival, we were told the water was off and our room wouldn’t be ready until after 7pm. It was 5 when we arrived. We were scheduled for Oogie Boogie Bash, so we were planning to check into our hotel and get ready to leave. The options we were given were to take an “upgraded” two queen room at the moment or to have our bags held until 7pm when our room would be ready (that meant we’d have to come back from our event to come check in). Obviously, checking in ASAP to an “upgraded” room sounded like the best choice. We get to our room, there’s nothing upgraded about it. It was an average room facing away from the park. I went back downstairs to tell them we just wanted our original room back because it was not what we were told we’d be getting and I was told they’re fully booked and can’t make any changes. It was super frustrating given the idea we were suppose to be given an upgraded room when there was nothing upgraded about it. I’m very disappointed about the experience we had.

Super cute hotel. Needs a makeover inside the rooms. Looked old and no ice buckets. BUT everything else was good. Front desk was nice. Parking was easy. For the price I’d stay again.

The property itself is a nice hotel. We had a few problems though. The hot water from the sink tap was the color of milk. I ran it for several minutes but it didn't clear. The shower and cold water seemed to be fine. I did use it when brushing my teeth, so I can only imagine what was in the water. 8 AM on a Sunday morning someone started drilling into the wall in the room next door. The construction was still going on when I checked out. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. Except the lady who checked me in. Get her off the front desk for the sake of your business. She made me feel like I was a naughty child who shouldn't be there. Nothing like the rest of the staff. She might be better suited to a funeral home. We wanted to love the Lulu but it wasn't the best. I've stayed in a lot of hotels around Disneyland and it just wasn't great compared to lesser rated hotels in the area.

Hazardous blood found on our vehicle

Safety concern experience with our stay at hotel lulu. concerning situation with our car happened at the hotel lulu parking lot. There were police on sight was we were loading our car. A vehicle parked adjacent to our car had blood splatter on their windows and around the driver and passenger side. Later that day we noticed our vehicle had blood splatter on the windows and door of the drivers side We will have to take the car to be professionally cleaned to remove hazardous bodily fluids an expense we weren’t expecting to encounter. As a repeat patron of hotel lulu in the past I am concerned about the safety of future stays. It is unfortunate to have encountered such an experience and lack of manager on staff handling the situation to rectify our unpleasant stay.

We loved the hotel. It was super close to everything we were there for. The only issue, which I know the hotel can't necessarily control, was that there was definitely some sort of disturbance at 4am of the morning we were checking out. I hope that something was done about those guests and the way that they acted, screaming and banging all over the hallway that early in the morning.
