Save your money and skip the room upgrades.
I paid an extra $20 per day for a “pool view,” and it wasn’t worth it. The pool itself is underwhelming, and most of what you’re actually looking at is rooftop. There’s nothing elevated or special about the experience.
A friend of mine stayed in a standard room without paying the $20 upgrade fee and her room view was better.
I also had the chance to see the higher-priced “Disney view,” and I would say the same thing: it’s simply not worth the additional cost.
This feels like an easy way for corporations to squeeze extra money out of guests by marketing something as an “upgraded experience” when it really isn’t.
Do yourself a favor and book the standard room and keep your money.
