Walk to Palisades Tahoe from this spacious 4BR cabin just ½ mile from the Village, or catch the free on-demand Mountaineer shuttle right to the lifts. Perfect for families and groups, it's an ideal Tahoe basecamp. In winter, ski all day and come home to cozy evenings by the fireplace. In summer, paddleboard Lake Tahoe, bike the Truckee River Trail, or relax on the sunny deck. Sleeps 8 with a full kitchen, fast WiFi, and room to relax together.

The space
Speedy 400 Mbps internet delivered over a mesh wi-fi network.
Level 2 NEMA 14-50 outlet available for EV charging. Please bring your own mobile charging cable.
A separate, private studio unit with its own entrance sits below the cabin. There's no shared indoor space.
Maximum day and night occupancy is 8 people.

Cameras
For safety, and to keep an eye on parking and snow removal, we have two exterior cameras: one at the cabin's front door and one over the parking area. There are no cameras inside either unit.

Travel insurance
Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend travel insurance in case a storm or road closure changes your plans.

Power and internet
Olympic Valley is a small mountain community, and power or internet can occasionally go out during big storms or busy holiday weekends. It doesn't happen often, but if it does, we'll keep you posted and help however we can.

Winter arrivals
We have the driveway, front path and bear box cleared regularly, but after a big storm you may arrive before the plow makes it around. Shovels and ice melt are provided so you can clear a path. Winter in the mountains can mean a little shoveling, so keep that in mind if anyone in your group has mobility concerns.

Decks
The decks are usually snowed in from October through May. Outdoor furniture is stored for winter and comes back out once the snow melts.

Trash
Bears are our neighbors here! Please put all trash in the bear box on the property or the communal dumpster, and don't leave anything outside. Recyclables can go in with trash, and pickup is Monday morning. If you end up with extra, just let us know and we'll take care of it.

Great property, great location

This property is well-maintained and was perfect for our family for a long ski weekend at Palisades. Plenty of room for everyone and a cozy kitchen and living area. Close to Palisades base so pickups and drop-offs at the base village are easy. Thank you for allowing us to rent your property!

Amazing getaway in Olympic Valley!

We absolutely loved this place! The owners are amazing and they use the space very well. There was plenty of room for our family to get together on the main level and spread out on the bottom and top floors where the bedrooms are located. They had all the essentials and communicated everything beforehand so we knew what we needed to pack. This was the perfect ski getaway in Olympic Valley! The free mountaineer shuttle picked us up and dropped us off, so we had an easy time getting to and from the resort. The mountain is great and the village has amazing restaurants! The food is great and the village is very updated for a mountain resort. We had a week-long stay that got disrupted by storms, and the owners were very understanding and accommodating. We will definitely book with them again!
