Lovely stay

Lovely stay and super attentive staff. My bed was a bit soft. The free onsen usage on site was great. The resturant appeared to have a bigger menu than the limited Shabu Shabu that was shown in English, I wish we had known about that as the other patrons food looked amazing. Lots to do in walking distance from the hotel and free parking on site.

Kunisakiso Ryocan was lovely. We ended our trip in Kyushu here, and it was very relaxing. We get to book a private bath, and the family bath is a first come first serve, so we split that between my dughter and I in the family bath whie my husband took the private bath - no bathing suits allowed. They also have a huge public bath, but my daughter would not have anything to do with that. After a few very heck days, our two night stay was a much needed rest. We missed the evening dinner reservation at the Ryocan, so the staff recommended Hama Sushi, a 5 min walk from the Ryocan. it was delicious and very reasonably priced. This spot was great because it is very close to the Hells of Beppu, which was the end of our tour from Hakata. It is a bit out of the way so we got a taxi to the YouMe mall where we found some great deals on clothing! Beppu is a much slower pace city compared to the hustle and bustle of the bigger centers. In the mist of summer, it is even more quiet, but that works to our advantage as we almost had the entire place to ourselves! The staffs were super nice and they served a delicious traditional breakfast which was greatly appreciated as this gabe is a glimpse of what lhelarhy ocals eat. We would definitely stay here again.

Ok stay but should update it's in renovation.

The staff is friendly and very polite, and waited for us for late checkin. However, the place is under renovation, should have stated that in the listing as it doesn't look good from the outside and the only one 'outdoor' onsen is surrounded by construction and is hardly 'outdoor'...

Amazing hot spring hotel in Beppu

Great service, hot spring was so amazing Yummy breakfast Nice room, clean and great location as it's close to the bus station and the Hells of Beppu

Steamy location

Located in the Centre of the thermal areas, with steam rising out of the vents on the roads around it. Traditional place, with relaxing onsen, and walkable to the restaurants and the main 7 pools of beppu

직원분들께서 연배도 있으신데 너무 정중히 상냥하게 맞이해 주셨습니다. 제가 바닥에서 잘 못자는데도 침구류가 정말 너~~~무 만족스러워서 깊게 잤고 가이세키도 맛있었습니다. 노천탕도 정말 만족했고 편안한 숙박이었습니다.

ホテルドットコムの写真に騙された❗

スタッフの方々は、色々丁寧に説明してくれ、フレンドリーでした、。お料理は、クオリティは良く2人には食べきれないくらいの量でした。部屋が畳が古いのか、ジャージに畳の藁が切れて入ってました。ホテルドットコムの写真では、ベットの部屋が多く写っていたので（映りも良かった）多分ベットの新しい部屋を期待していましたが、和式の古い部屋でした。トイレも、芳香剤入れて欲しかった❗元々臭かったです！夜中に蚊が、1匹か？何匹？か、いて、夜中で、スタッフもよべず、かなり噛まれ、なかなか寝れなかったです。蚊取り線香を用意しといて欲しかったです。（もし、虫が多いのであれば！）値段ほどの価値は料理以外感じられなかったです。

夕飯は素晴らしかったです温泉も良かったですただ、朝食の煮物は明らかに冷凍でかぼちゃがブヨブヨでしたせっかくの団子汁もお野菜が冷凍なのか固形燃料か燃え尽きてもお汁がぬるくて悲しかったです　夕飯が良かっただけに残念でした
