Nice stay at Comfort

Very friendly and helpful staff. They need to have the chairs in the dining area reupholstered. It would be nice to have more than one waffle machine so there is not such a long line and wait. I prefer fresh cooked eggs while you wait. Very nice people who want to meet your needs day and night.

When we arrived.

The space is nice and the service is always solid. The facility is getting older and they were working on the water so the water was brown in the morning but was clear when we arrived.

The facility is nice. There are problems with attention to detail. The bathroom fixtures have bare bulbs. The toilet screams when it refills after a flush. Several lamps with two sockets have only one bulb. The doorstop has been pounded into the wall and ineptly repaired. The tv remote is essentially unusable, probably due to almost dead batteries. There are screw holes in the bathroom wall where, apparently, an appliance that didn’t work was simply taken down. Recommend the use of a room condition check list and a system for dealing with discrepancies to avoid a slide into a state of disrepair

Eww. Not the cleanest.

Not the cleanest experience. The down comforter on one bed had about a 3” blood stain on it and on the other bed it had a couple long hairs on it. The beds were hard and the tub had peace missing from the insert. It was quiet and convenient for a long cross country trip so we were too tired to complain at the time of stay.

It smelled clean. However, we had a hole in the wall and flickering light bulbs. It seemed understaffed when we arrived at 6pm to check in. No one was at the desk and it took several minutes for someone to show up. I wasn't crazy about paying a $50 security deposit especially when I noticed the damaged wall. I'm expecting to get the deposit back but was told it would take several days to show up.
