Second time staying, i stayed with my fiance we had a very nice time of course never long enough. The economy room was small but fitting very cute size for 2 people, we did have a problem with the stove lighting up but after doing it with a lighter it was fine. The sink was dripping water a bit when running but overall the room was nice, the refrigerator was a cute size i would say could use a bigger fridge but we made it work. The AC was working perfectly got cold in the room which we wanted, the staff is always welcoming and a pleasure to equate with and very helpful when needed. Miss Lavern is communative and looking forward stayong again soon!

I think its advertised as an apartment its a room in a house, directions to the property poor, the house has a musty smell,not my bedroom but when you enter the house. its not a quite area, music playing from bus park & other residents, staff that i saw was nice, fridge not plugged in, in kitchen, no instructions to work appliances, another holiday maker asked me how to open the front door with the fob, not worth £75 per night

Air conditioning was effective. Just had issue with it in 1 room. But was fixed immediately. Property was clean, secure and safe. Only suggestion is more towels and wash clothes if staying past 2 days.

Beautiful property nestled in a safe and serene community. Ideal if you like a quiet setting, away from the hustle and bustle from typical tourist locations. Host was also accessible and welcoming! Would stay here again if visiting areas close by to the property.

I did like that it was a pool on the property but it needed some maintenance it was cloudy a little dirty, i like how the rooms were spacious and A.C. in them. The main gate was having problems getting stuck but was resolved afterwards. One of the rooms we stayed in the tv remote was missing but there were tvs in other rooms which was convenient. The staff will wash your clothes for you per load which was helpful for the time i needed it, i had a small 2 loads and charged me $20 and i gave $5 tip. The staff were very helpful and Ms. Lavern is very helpful as well and you can call her when needed very reliable with the communication. Overall very nice property

Absolutely loved staying at Lavern’s Place! Lavern is a gracious and attentive host! The property is spotless and beautifully maintained, with a relaxing pool deck that’s perfect after a day of exploring. Just a short 10-minute walk to the beach and a shopping mall. The room was cool and comfortable with a lovely view of the peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Lavern’s Place was the perfect for my Ocho Rios trip. It’s super clean, safe, and located in a quiet area just a walk away from downtown and the beach. I went for a morning jog and felt totally at ease — even passed kids on their way to school. The AC worked great and the views from the room were a bonus, including the nice pool! The host was great too, everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

The facility did not look like the photos online. When I arrived there was no running water. The furniture was outdated and didn't appear clean. The owner is nice and understood my reasons for leaving. I had to find another place for myself and family to stay at the late minute which was a huge inconvenience.
