It was a pleasant stay. The hotel was close to the beach and it was close enough, as well as far enough, from the boardwalk. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool was really clean and heated which was delightful to use.

Solid Motel for the price. Clean room and bathroom, and the pool was very clean. Steps from the beach, which is a very good-and not crowded, stretch of beach in OC. Grocery store, deli, liquor store, great breakfast restaurant(Barn 34) all within 2 blocks.

We had 2 weekend tournaments in Maryland and wanted an inexpensive beach trip between them. The Thunderbird is an older / smaller hotel … but it is extremely clean and kept up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay… the location is perfect for beach and boardwalk access. The pool was also very clean. We will definitely be booking again next year . I would 100% recommend this gem!!
