Funny that your suggested idea was "was the hot tub hot enough". I booked this hotel for the hot tub and also called the hotel directly to confirm the hot tub was open since it was off season and was told it was open, when I arrived, I asked the front desk what time they closed the hot tub area and she said it wasn't open, very disappointed. Overall, okay stay... but would have stayed somewhere else if I knew the hot tub wasn't available.

The location and front desk staff are great. Our jacuzzi aopeared clean until it was turned on. Dirt and sand blasted out of every vent qhich was incredibly gross. There was some trash on the floor when we arrived as well. Aside from that it was good.

The rooftop pool is closed from Labor Day until May, which I expected, but with major festivals happening, you'd think they'd maintain and keep it open. The indoor pool is extremely small—more like a large hot tub—and not inviting. Worse, on our first night, the bathroom in the pool area had feces all over it. That was the only time we used the pool. The rooms feel outdated and could really use a refresh. One of the lights didn’t work, and there were noticeable dust bunnies that should’ve been cleaned. The toilet paper was also poor quality—minor, but frustrating. Price gouging during festivals is expected, but it feels unjustified when the property itself hasn’t been properly updated. There's only one elevator, which wasn’t a major issue for us since we were on the second floor, but still worth noting. The entire layout of the hotel is odd and not very convenient. Parking is another downside—either across the road, further down the street, or $20 per night for "premium" parking, which feels like a ripoff. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Price we paid did not live up to the quality received. Pictures did not live up to the hype. smell was moldy, towels were rough , bed was not comfortable. I was not happy with my decision & immediately regretted the decision. It was near the boardwalk was the only benefit. I should have read the reviews prior. They should use fabric softener for the towls & blankets. Mold in the shower. Try elsewhere until they make corrections or renovations

Pro: proximity to beach and Oceans Calling. Cons: noisy ac unit that dripped and made the carpet wet and room humid, shower water would only get tepid regardless of time of day, room was noisy due to poorly insulated balcony door, smelled of mildew and strong bleach, parking lots are too tight. Overall poor value for the high cost.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences ever! The hotel advertised free parking; but all of spaces under the hotel were marked reserved with one handicap. There was no loading zone, only two decent sized but old and rickety luggage racks and 5 very small racks with huge gaps across the bottom so your stuff kepf falling through. The reserve spots cost $22.50 per night! The free parking was across the main thoroughfare into the city and a block down in two small lots with very narrow parking spots. Only one extremely slow moving elevator. One of the beds had a dirty sheet left one it with body hair and dirt stains. The coffee pot was filthy, and the microwave tray was greasy on one side and sticky on the other. Will definitely not be staying there ever again.
