The Room was absolutely horrible - the door would mot lock as it looked like it had been kicked in previously and rigged up with screws but would not lock - the bed was disgusting and dirty - the bathroom window would not shut at all - it was stuck half open - dirty napkin on table - the tv had no remote and would not turn on- there was a looked like blood on the wall by door and no phone in room to call the desk to complain and the office was closed up tight no lights

We stayed for a whole week sunday to sunday and never got room service. Had to take old towels to office everyday. There was mice in our room that got into our food which cost a a good bit of money. Called manager on way home because no one ar front desk for checkout and he just said go online and complain. Terribel

Hotel is in a good location. It seems a bit dated and old but was clean and convenient.

Choosing this hotel was a last minute decision and chosen by price. That being said, I was not impressed by Cabana Motel. The sheets were dirty, the floor was cracked and dirty, the ceiling tiles were sagging and had water spots, the outlets were broken, and the smoke detector didn’t even have batteries in it. I stayed for 3 nights and each night I could hear something moving in the ceiling. Once it moved fast enough to shift a ceiling tile. The shower was very sensitive and the slightest adjustment would go from freezing to boiling. Anytime someone flushed the toilet from another room the shower went blazing hot. This stay was an adventure but by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Stellar service

Location was great - close to everything. The property isn’t in great condition and the linens weren’t new (some stains), but it was functional for what we needed. The service though - exceptional. The owner, Anil, and Natasha went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival and early departure times. Incredibly kind people. They made the whole stay worthwhile.

You get what you pay for

The man checking us in was wonderful. The good things ended there. Between finding a hair claw/clip on the bed that wasn't mine, what appeared to be black mold on the walls in the bathroom, and the fact that we didn't have toilet paper or even a toilet paper HOLDER on the wall in the bathroom. I am never one to care where I stay when I just need somewhere to sleep, but even I cared this time. Nothing was overtly disgusting, but I still slept on top of the sheets with my beach towel as a blanket. Thankfully it was just one night. After 40 years in OCMD I finally found a place I won't stay again.

Place needs a major upgrade. No smoke detector in the room, floor was dirty, mold on several ceiling tiles, some unidentifiable mold covered thing growing on a baseboard, fridge wasn't cold and had rust on the door, a/c worked when it felt like it and had a "clean filter" light on, office staff was not available to check out when we left at 9:00am

There were still items from previous guests in the room, even though it was "cleaned". Sheets and towels had stains, and an extra sheet we requested even had clumps of hair. Air conditioning also had problems. The staff were nice and had good customer service
