We loved our stay here. The room had a beautiful, modern design, and three stories and rooftop hot tub made it feel especially unique. The rooftop also offered lovely views of the church. Not all the rooms have the rooftop hut tub. The stairs may be challenging for families with young children or elderly guests. I had read reviews mentioning that the towels were old. They are certainly not thick and fluffy like the towels at the Four Seasons, but they do the job—you dry yourself off and get moving! The spa is really cool, especially the underground cenote. It is man-made, but it is still a fun and unusual experience that adds to the character of the property. This is not the place to choose if you are looking for a grand, spacious room with a huge bathroom. However, if you appreciate distinctive architecture, thoughtful design, and a memorable experience, this is a fun place to stay. The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful with everything from taxis and luggage to reservations and local recommendations. Overall, this is a design-forward property, not a luxury-forward property, and it delivers a unique and enjoyable experience. Location is amazing 5 stars!

This is a cool property in a great location, but it’s not a five star hotel. Firstly the breakfast is very limited in terms of what is included. The rooms are clean but not particularly comfortable or high end. The general design aesthetic is cool but impractical, the cast iron stairs are noisy and the steps down to spa are precarious and nothing is very comfortable (despite looking trendy). The location is perfection and the staff are kind and attentive. The air conditioning is dreadful - didn’t work effectively and made a dreadful noise. There is also some kind of extractor fan in the main court yard which is disturbing. Overall i wouldn’t recommend given price.
