So happy to stay here Staff were very helpful at check in as there was no parking in front of the hotel-but they helped make it work. The parking garage nearby was more expensive, but easy to access

Efficient and very clean room w/ private bath. We had a good experience at the hotel. The location is perfect. Would definitely stay there again. I used a parking SpotHero app online which found a nearby lot for overnight was $18. Reasonable.

Close to Berkeley campus, this is an older building with layers of paint. The lobby is a bit old fashioned and the room was clean with clean beds and bathroom. Limited amenities and a fridge in the room.

Rooms were very clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel restaurant was delicious. The historic 100 year old hotel was close to the venue and other restraunts and cute shops. Very charming. Id stay there again and again.

We stayed because we went to a concert right across the street at the UC Theatre. That was a big plus because we didn't have to drive anywhere. Lots of restaurants around there and some smoke shops. Can't say anything about parking because we got dropped off. I will say the first room we were given hadn't been cleaned so it was a bit gross to see unmade beds and dirty towels. They did immediately put us in another room that was clean. We paid extra to have a private bathroom, and we were quite pleased with the size and cleanliness.

Least that could have been done is to be given a room close to a better and bigger washroom given the age of the guests. My mother is 81, I went to the reception to ask but they gave me vague excuses to not help in anyway. We did find the other 2 common washrooms to be used by the guests but we found them on our own, the manager didn’t bother to share that info when we checked in.
