Cheap and Good Location Don’t Make A Good Stay

The location is easy to find and the check in was perfectly pleasant. The room had many issues: - pins, a needle, and small shards of glass on the floor - busted lampshades - sticky bathroom floor and dirty counter - TV remote missing the plastic back and with dead batteries - half the outlets not working A couple positives: - Sheets looked fresh and clean - Fridge and coffee maker worked - Location is near many restaurants, bars and BART I didn’t have a chance to try the breakfast due to my check out, which was also nice. I likely wouldn’t stay here again; there are a few hotels where you can get good quality for a low price. This isn’t it, sorry.

Parking pretty safe. Towels very thin, old , and of a skimpy size. Worst towels I’ve ever had at a hotel! No iron or hair dryer in room. I had to ask for them At front desk. Ironing board had only one leg. I found second leg broken off in closet.

My room smelled terrible (like urine). My shower door would not close without some force. I never had housekeeping service my room. We had to leave trash outside the doors to get taken away. The door didn’t lock for the first two days (was resolved). The tv never worked even though I requested it to be looked at. I was there for 11 nights. TV should have been a priority! Neighboring rooms have a thin wall/door in between and I could hear everything. (I didn’t know them).

Took the train to Jack London Sq. Amtrak station is a short walk away. But trains literally pass right in front and honk horn loudly, so it is NOISY. Didn't interrupt my sleep, tho. Building is old but updated. Room was spacious. Bathroom clean. Frustrated trying to get TV to work. Easy once someone showed me how, but there should have been instructions in the room. Cont. Breakfast was limited but good. Close to restaurants and Bay Trail. A bargain.

Do NOT stay here.

The room was disgusting. Looked NOTHING like the picture. I stepped into the bathroom and water formed around my shoe. Like whatever flooring they put on top of it, it was WET underneath it. I don’t think there’s ever been any upkeep in the bathroom, it was dingy, chipped paint and tub… No AC! They had a box fan. I left as soon as I saw the room.

There was all sorts of hair in the bed and bathroom area, including the shower walls and floor and towels. I’m not sure if it was from another guest or housekeeping but there was hair everywhere. There was not lotion and when I asked for more I was told they don’t have any. There was knobs missing from the furniture and a lightbulb that was burnt out in the bathroom. The staff has been kind and patient with all guests.

My room wasn't pleasant while in the bed next to the window. The carpets smell like dog. I had to smell that for 3 days. The TV remote was dirty as hell and it didn't have any batteries in it. The parking lot was the cleanest thing there. If you think I'm lying asks for the pictures, I have pictures of how bad the room look.. I also lost my luggage when I checked out.I left the luggage by the counter.It was only the staff there.And the security guard, but when I called back to check no one's seeing it at four o'clock in the morning when I checked out.
