The location is great! This property is unique - very pretty inside! Great breakfast. The room is small and the bed is small. Only two people can fit in this room! But it worked for us and we had a view of the Golden Gate bridge from our room on a higher floor. Also - no tv in room.

Love the beautiful architecture and historical aspects of the property. Well located near the Cal campus and very convenient for public transportation. Breakfast was a lovely added bonus! Only detraction regarding the area is the homeless situation which is evident throughout Berkeley & SF.

Love the old building, such a great piece of history for Berkeley. The architecture and pool were amazing. Plus the little quiet green space courtyard. Staff all very friendly. The room was comfortable and quaint. Great location too. Only downside was construction a few doors down, which started very early. And some college kids doing some workout chanting at 6:30 but you can’t fault the property for those.
