Very quiet area of the island, far from Waikiki. Wouldn’t venture further north from here but the immediate area is wonderful. Loved doing the beach walk every day to the Four Seasons and back. Rented the Marriott umbrella & 2 lounges for wonderful beach days. The pool can get crowded with kids but didn’t bother us - the pool is very pretty and spacious. Traveled in early December so the resort wasn’t too crowded but they do monitor pool lounges that are ‘held’ & will clear the towels and belongings if left unattended (loved that!) for too long. The villa was amazing!

The only downside to our stay was being charged $59 for two non-alcoholic drinks from the Longboards restaurant/poolside bar, which felt quite excessive.

The play pen that the hotel offers for infants to sleep in is incredibly uncomfortable and old. My 1 year old was not able to sleep comfortably on the hard, wooden-like mattress. Please bring your own crib, if visiting with a baby.
