This is a little gem of a hotel right in the middle of the prettiest part of Nuremberg's old town and historic centre. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and the woman at Reception went out of her way to suggest places of interest and give advice. Breakfast was really good and the hotel was very clean and quiet. All in all, an excellent choice and great value.

I stayed here for one weekend during my study abroad trip and absolutely loved it. The hotel is walking distance to many of the city’s main attractions, and the staff was beyond excellent. Charming historic hotel, great location

The Hotel Elch is a quaint, charming hotel in a perfect location. The part we stayed in was the historic building with half timbered walls. There are stairs to get to the rooms, which are on the small side, but still comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
